Be sure to check back tomorrow for the full slideshow from Brandi & Chris’ wedding!
We started the day with a very relaxed early afternoon in Brandi’s hotel room with her closest friends. Amanda Farris (this girl’s hands/arms have graced the pages of the blog more than anyone else combined i do believe) was already there working her magic on their hair!
Here’s some of Amanda’s past face appearances…
If you’re in need of a stylist for your wedding or portrait session contact me and I’ll get you in touch with Amanda!
Chris & Brandi live in NYC so their dog, Buster, wasn’t able to make it to their wedding in puppy person… but he was definitely there in spirit!
As soon as I walked into Haywood Hall I knew the wedding was going to be awesome. Everything in the historic house was cute and a little quirky and was perfectly Brandi & Chris’ style. Sometimes the older historic venues can be stuffy and traditional, but Haywood Hall just screamed laid back amazingness!
There were so many cute hideaway spots for great pictures in the garden area. I love how it’s all overgrown, unlike most historic homes’ landscaping. Loved this little overgrown bushy cave with it’s pretty diffused light!
My best friend Jennifer (who lives far away in Chicago) & her beau walked in about this time so I pulled them under the little cave of bushes too for a quick shot just before the ceremony started. But stay tuned on the blog soon… before I headed back to Charlotte & before Jennifer & Bill headed back to Chicago, we did a loveshoot session on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill… Jennifer’s Alma Matter!
Brandi’s best friend got her “officiant” license online just for the ceremony… so sweet!
