Cabbage Lasagna – No Flour No Sugar Recipe

-MorningStar Sausage Crumbles (this one doesn’t have sugar, the regular beef crumbles does).

-Tomato Sauce

-Tomato Paste

-Sweet Onion Chopped

-Red Bell Pepper Chopped

-Garlic cloves to taste

-Ricotta

-Mozarella

-Tomatoes in Sauce or just a bunch of tomatos (I used my mom’s canned tomatoes)

-Head of Cabbage

Steam the cabbage head until the leaves peel off easily and are pliable.  Saute the onions & garlic in oil, add peppers & meat & cook a few minutes, then add tomatoes & sauces & spices.  Layer a casserole dish with cabbage, 1/3 meat mixture, and 1/3 ricotta cheese.  Repeat until all used.

Bake uncovered for 20 minutes at 350.  Add mozzarella, cover and bake an additional 5 minutes.
