False Springtime in Portland Oregon

I know I’ve been a lazy blogger, I admit it.  I’m really just trying to enjoy our days in Portland while I have the time!  The weather fluctuates so often and drastically here, it’s a little fun.  It rained ALL day yesterday, snowed last night (so pretty!), and was a gorgeous sunshiny day today.  And the forecast says it’s going to be 70 next week.  Last week however, was sunny and clear for 3 days straight and we could see Mt. Hood.  Always a great day!  But what’s more, when we were driving home we saw two other huge mountains way off foggy in the distance.  I jokingly said, “Hey look, it’s Mt Rainier!” (which is about 120 miles away)… but when I got home and researched it, we learned that on very rare days you actually can see Mt Rainier and Mt Saint Helens from the particular street we were driving down!  I know, I know, no one else is going to understand this excitement like we do 🙂  Same as that one time we saw seals, sea otters, and a bald eagle all in the span of 10 minutes.

I do have several posts lined up that are in the works.  Until then, enjoy this shot of Mt Hood taken in Northern Portland 🙂 (Mt. Hood is 50 miles away)

We are wedding photographers new to Portland, OR… check out our portfolio here!
