Wow, was this wedding pretty! It was a perfect blend of laid-back rustic and classically romantic. The venue, Horning’s Hideout in North Plains OR (just 30 minutes or so from Portland), which is a also a fishing area and campground, was truly a hideout! After driving for what felt like several miles down a narrow, tree-lined gravel road, it opened up to rolling hills, a couple of large ponds, and dozens of peacocks! There are several different areas for events at the venue, and Jessie and Nate chose the back corner of the property with a huge stage for the wedding ceremony and dance floor. It was perfect and they decorated it so beautifully! One of the groomsmen even hand crafted a gorgeous arbor for the ceremony, as a surprise gift for the bride. And get this… he even attached a horseshoe bouquet holder for the bride to have a place to put the bouquet for the ceremony since he knew it could be heavy and awkward for the maid of honor to have to hold 2! SO THOUGHTFUL! We loved working with Jessie & Nate over the past year and are so excited to share these images from their wedding day.
