A few weeks ago, I assisted my friend Ruthie, of Ruthie Briggs Photography, with an outdoor boudoir session in Battle Ground, WA. Ruthie had an awesome location picked out… an off the beaten path waterfall area that required a lot of hiking through tall weeds and ferns, and up and down steep slippery slopes, lol 🙂 I wore my tall rubber boots which I was happy to have through the undergrowth, but I COULD NOT make it down the slopes since they don’t really bend. Ruthie had to throw me her shoes to wear so I could make it down. Joanna was a total trooper up for the adventure. I love that she was so comfortable with herself to just be parading through the woods in barely anything, laughing and smiling the whole time. It’s also great that she’s comfortable enough to allow us to share some of the images we captured from the shoot! A lot of times boudoir sessions go unpublished, which is completely reasonable and fully understandable… but it’s nice to be able to share a session from time to time 🙂
You’re so gorgeous Joanna!
