My Bridal Portraits by Rooftop Studios

Today is our wedding celebration, so I get to share with you my bridal portraits… finally!

A while back, actually 2 years ago almost now… my friend Dawn of Rooftop Studios, and my best friend Jennifer drove with me all the way to Tennessee looking for snow for some bridal portraits.  I knew Ben would be asking me to marry him soon… to him 2 years counts as “soon”:)… and I had always wanted some snowy bridal portraits… so I jumped on the chance to do it as soon as I had found a dress.  Some people said I was crazy… for buying the dress before being engaged, as well as doing bridal portraits before being engaged… but that’s just how I roll!  The funny thing was… once we finally found a small patch of snow in the Tennessee mountains, a blizzard started.  The next day, we could have had a winter wonderland portrait session in my Charlotte backyard.  There was so much snow and ice that Jennifer was stuck in Charlotte and couldn’t drive back to Chicago for another few days.
