So, it’s going to be another few weeks I think before I have a chance to sort through our Wedding Celebration photos to make a post here.  But, in the meantime, I might have one or two little detail posts to toss your way!  Lucky you, today I’m gonna show you our awesome wedding invitations designed by the talented hubby 🙂

It’s all in the little details… we used return address labels with an vintage Arizona postcard design since we got married in Arizona 😀

Q. Suggestion for the Invitation?  Anything we should have done differently?

A. We should have had separate RSVP check offs for both the “ceremony” and the “reception dinner”.  Many many people came to see the ceremony but were never planning to stay for the dinner.  We ended up spending at least an extra thousand dollars on dinners that were not eaten at the wedding (of course Ben and I had leftovers for a week which is always a bonus!).  An easy fix would have been just adding that extra check box.

AA. We should have also had a blank space for people to write their names if they were NOT able to come.  There was a place for people to write who would be coming under their “yes, we’ll be there” reply,  but for the “no, we can’t come” reply there was no space for their names.  We assumed they would either know to write their names in the space above or at least put a return address on the envelope but we must have had 20 RSVPs come back with absolutely no idea who they were from!  We thought it was pretty ridiculous, but it could have been another easy fix, LOL.
