Hello! This blog is like a journal. Here you can scroll for hours and see images from every shoot that we’ve been a part of, as well as a little information about each. Just looking to view certain types of sessions that we’ve photographed, such as families, or engagements? Click on the “What to View” tab above, or use the search bar to find something specific. Here you’ll find lots and lots of images and see shoots more in-depth. If you just want to see our top favorite images, without all the extra stuff, check out our “Website” by clicking the tab above.

Man oh man.  Christina is one determined bride who truly trusts my vision.  How do I know this?  Well, for one, she jumped into a huge overgrown ditch and crossed over a barrier wire fence just at me mentioning “aren’t those hills fun”.  I tried to say nevermind when I saw the fence, and then again when I saw the ravine.  But she’s just full of spunk and wouldn’t have any of it!  Fabulous!  I love my brides!

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting to share this fun bridal session that we shot in Wallace, NC and since Christina and Braxton are getting married today, I can finally share these with you!

My friend Laura has started a food blog that you can check out here, called The Healthy Living Chronicles.  She’ll be focusing on local finds (grocery stores, restaurants, and farmers markets), how to plan a weekly menu and buy locally and/or organically without breaking the bank, and health and fitness goals.  It’s looking really great and I’m excited to announce that I am her permanent guest blogger!

I’ve already made two recipe posts so far, but I’m looking forward to being able to write a lot more in the slower winter months when I don’t have as many sessions and weddings booked!  I like to keep busy:)  I’ll be doing a lot of similar posts, and most importantly, I’ll be writing about eating locally, healthily, and cheaply while on the road… during our 4 month road trip next year!  Go check it out right now and bookmark it for later.

Also, be sure to check them out on Twitter at HLChronicles

and become a fan on facebook!

After I got back from this weekend’s detail-fabulous wedding in Charleston, I headed up to Denton, NC for the day so that I could see my parents for a bit while they were there for an annual church convention.  My dad loves to help out in the cookhouse when he’s there and they had 60 dozen eggs to crack for breakfast the next day, so I snapped a few pictures and then helped them finish:)
