Hello! This blog is like a journal. Here you can scroll for hours and see images from every shoot that we’ve been a part of, as well as a little information about each. Just looking to view certain types of sessions that we’ve photographed, such as families, or engagements? Click on the “What to View” tab above, or use the search bar to find something specific. Here you’ll find lots and lots of images and see shoots more in-depth. If you just want to see our top favorite images, without all the extra stuff, check out our “Website” by clicking the tab above.

You may remember seeing Chloe’s senior portraits a couple of months ago on the blog along with a few pictures of her family… well now they are back… and this time they brought the whole gang!

Such a fun group!  Thanks you guys!

On another note… apparently I made an impression on little Espen after Chloe’s senior session.  Valerie, his mom, said that he had her taking photos of him in all sorts of interesting poses all evening after the shoot and he kept telling her “how to do it like crystal” which involved her laying on the floor a lot!  So cute!  Here are some of the resulting images:)

and here’s a shot he took of me and lauren after the family shoot… good focus:)

Heather & Alvin are getting married today!  So now I can show you some of her pretty bridal portraits that we shot at the UNCC Botanical Gardens.  We started really early in the morning when the sprinklers were still on and the spiderwebs were still hanging across all the pathways.  Ick!  We swatted at them with sticks and the Heather’s dress hanger until we lost them both in the battle.  Then we just used the reflector:)

Does anyone else see the Sarah Jessica Parker resemblance that I’m seeing in this image?

A bumble bee came by to check out Heather’s bouquet.  He hung on for quite a while!

Congrats Heather & Alvin!

  • Brandi - I don’t know exactly how these botanical gardens are, but I know we have local ones that are very popular with brides. However, these photos are still unique, the composition and everything makes them different, very natural and pretty. Great job!ReplyCancel

Finally!  Large images again!  This was one of the main reasons I finally upgraded the blog:)

Tola stopped through Charlotte on her way to Charleston from Chicago a couple of months ago!  She did a little bit of modeling for my intern to give her some practice shooting and of course I had to snap a few of my beautiful friend as well:)  I always love making Tola model for me… ever since we were kiddos in high school!

Tola’s sister Elke came to pick her up too soon… come back!
