Photographing Matthew & Alexis’ wedding day was a blast!  When all the groomsmen pulled into the country church, one loud giant truck after another, each covered in mud, I knew it was going to be a fun day:)  Not to mention, my little brother was one of them!

Their reception was at the newly built River Landing Country Club in Wallace, NC. It was so gorgeous! I wish I lived closer so that I could shoot here more often;)

This was the view from the ballroom…

Gotta love the traditional smashing of cake in face:)

The sunset over the lake at River Landing Country Club was so beautiful…

I helped Ben Jack shoot a wedding in Black Mountain, NC near Asheville a couple of weeks ago at White Horse. It was a dark and rainy day in Black Mountain, but it didn’t get the bride and groom down or keep the wedding guests from dancing all night!
See the way Joe looks at his bride? So sweet!

We had to get creative with indoor bride and groom portraits… the kitchen in the house everyone got ready in was perfect!

One of the groomsmen rented this house for the week. It once belonged to someone named Ms. Helen and all her belongings are still there. All the guys were drinking out of tea cups.

The band was Motown Blues and they had everyone dancing and singing along… they even got called back at the end of the night for an encore!

David & Margaret were married at First Baptist Church (right beside the Capitol) in Raleigh, NC and had their reception at North Hills Club.

Isn’t the cake beautiful? Margaret’s dad made it!!!

The parents were full of talent… that’s David’s mom singing and dad on the saxophone in the background.

You know you have the most awesome clients when the bride and her sister break out the Worm!

Hope you’re having a fabulous time in the Dominican Republic!

Carlton & Denise were married at the beautiful Graylyn Internation Conference Center in Winston Salem. It was such a gorgeous day, to go along with such a gorgeous couple! I’m so happy that I was able to get to know these two over the past year and really enjoyed capturing their wedding day.

Meet Alan, the super-talented, Irish speaking, charismatic owner of Crown Alley Films… he was so much fun to work with and I can’t wait to see what he captured for Carlton & Denise!

And now meet Paula Latham, the amazing coordinator for the entire day’s production. She made sure every detail was in place and ensured that the day ran smoothly. All while being nice as pie!

Per Carlton’s request… he had seen something similar and loved it… I do too!

Let the dancing begin!

Carlton’s groomsmen surprised him with an Omega watch. He LOVED it!

After the celebration, Carlton & Denise let us have as much time as we wanted for some creative portraits of just the two of them!

*Couples, if you want these style of portraits be sure to block off as much time as you possibly can during your day*

Thanks so much Carlton & Denise! Hope you’re having a great time in the Dominican Republic!

TC & Elaine were married at St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville, NC and celebrated afterward at the fabulous Hampton Inn & Suites, also in Mooresville which has been named the #1 Hampton Inn in the nation.  I had so much fun photographing their special day and had a really difficult time narrowing down the images to showcase.  To see all of them, head over to my facebook business page:) Enjoy!

who can name what’s on the tv in the pic above;)

Elaine’s bathroom was perfect for getting ready… huge windows and bright blue walls:)

TC & Elaine have 2 adorable daughters. Kayli was the flower girl and grandma made her dress!

I’m so excited, I finally picked up a macro lens… now I can start getting some awesome ring shots!

Aren’t these shoes great?! Since I liked them so much, I’m going to share with you all 4 of my newest favorite shoe images:)

Mom & baby Liliana’s shoes:)

I guess this technically makes 5;)

Elaine’s Grandmother read a sweet poem that she wrote and no one could keep back those tears!

Meet Heather Boswell, the brains behind not only the wedding decor and planning, but also one of the best cake designers around… not to mention best tasting! The cake she made for TC & Elaine had a cannoli filling… yum! Check out her facebook business page to see more of her lovely cakes.

The most violent cake smashing I’ve ever seen!

Love this one of Elaine dancing with her brother…

Thanks you two for having me there on your big day! Also, a big thank you to my friend Laura Manzare for assisting me!
