Sabrina & Wille – Married! {Puerto Rico Rio Grande San Juan Rainforest Hacienda Siesta Alegre Wedding Photographers}

I know we haven’t been as consistent with our blogging these past two months, but don’t worry, things are about to get back on schedule!

We’re flying back today from an amazing long weekend in Puerto Rico, where we had the privilege of photographing Sabrina & Wille’s rainforest wedding at Hacienda Siesta Alegre!  Click HERE and HERE to view parts 1 and 2 of their engagement session.

We have been looking forward to this wedding for nearly a year now and it didn’t disappoint!  The ceremony and reception were both held at the Hacienda Siesta Alegre, a horse ranch in the rain forest.  The images on their website just don’t do it justice… it was breathtaking… and the staff were all super kind and treated the bride and groom like royalty.  The dark rain clouds rolled in just before the ceremony began, but the rain just stayed in the sky and we never saw a drop!

The bride and groom both looked stellar!

All around the venue were random dogs and scraggy cats… the dogs were so used to being spoiled that they lie around upside down waiting to have their bellies rubbed 😉

Sabrina’s friend was in charge of hair and makeup.  She did an awesome job!  She has a salon in Fayetteville called Official Styles, specializing in all natural products and styling.  Send me a message if you want her info!

Love this shot below that Ben captured 🙂

These two are total troopers!  They were up at 5:00am the morning after their wedding so that we could get some “day after” shots around Old San Juan.  I’m so glad we had the chance to grab a few more images with the couple on this gorgeous island!

  • Mahdi Hinds-Zaami - Ohhh! How beautiful!!! Sabrina… I am your cousin in upstate New York. Sasheen, my niece and your cousin also, contacted me from Arizona to tell me just 20 minutes ago that you existed! And now, to see these beautiful pictures of you and your husband, and your wedding… it’s miraculous! My name is Denise Hinds-Zaami. My family is from New York City where your mother Gail was born. I met her once or twice. I knew her mother Margaret, and I know Margaret’s sisters Esther (living in Madrid, Spain) and Mildred (living near Detroit, Michigan. They were my father’s cousins. My father was Walter Hinds. His mother, Celia Brown Hinds, was from Goldsburg, North Carolina, moved to Harlem, New York, and married Oscar Hinds (who was from Colombia, South America). Celia’s sister was your great grandmother. Esther will contact you with more about her. I only wish that Gail and Mildred’s daughter Cindy could have seen each other once again before Cindy passed away a few months ago. You have a rich family background. We hope you have a rich and happy life. ReplyCancel
