It was a WET. FOGGY. DREARY. DARK. RAINY. morning come the day of the Hatley’s photoshoot. And it was almost an hour away so when I checked the weather it said it was super foggy in Charlotte but clear in Gold Hill. I set out with high hopes, but as I got closer and closer, it just kept getting rainier and foggier. I was a little worried I had driven all that way for nothing. So, I gave them a call and told them to take their time getting to our meeting place to see if it would clear up a bit. And you know what? It did! I took my umbrella with me for about 5 minutes for the drizzle, but then it stopped once we started shooting, yay! And they were completely okay with getting wet anyway… my kind of laid back family!
This was the most of Fall I had seen all month, and it was so pretty!
As I mentioned, I only used my umbrella for 5 minutes and then I threw it to the wayside and forgot about it… good thing I have wonderful little helpers around to run and pick up after me! 😉
Mom & Dad got married here last year, so they wanted a family portrait for the memories:)
Look at little Miss Hatley… so sassy!
